Wow. Great house.
Very interesting I lived on 7th and york and you know I had a dick's beer bottle cap few years ago with logo and quincy on it I lost it I walk by there everyday in 1961 62
In the early 1960's my dad was part of the team from Boeing that built Minute man bases through out the mid west. We spent about 4 months in Rantoul. I was just a kid in maybe 2nd grade. And it was winter. In 2017, in June I took a trip out to Michigan and back home(Camano Island WA). One of the places I stopped at was Rantoul. I got in late in the evening and got a hotel room. When I was getting my stuff out of my (Classic) car a couple guys were in the parking lot talking. It turned out they were dismantling a couple of the airplanes at the Chanute Air Museum. One was the B-58 Hustler. They invited me to go with them in the morning to see, and take pictures of what was left of the planes there. It was sad to find out several of the exhibit airplanes were being scrapped due to condition and size. I understand the B-58 went to Michigan.

Erma Walbring who worked many years for Claude Underbrink created and named the Radio Roll after the dial on an old radio. Her son Lew Walbring can verify as her granddaughter Lisa RAPP can attest.
God bless this man. Id love to visit his house.
I've included this antique fire pumper segment for historical interest regarding the first fire company in Quincy. I've read that this pumper was the first one used in Illinois although others were in circulation - is this correct? I copied newspaper article Quincy Herald, Tues, Jan 25, 1921: THE OLD REPORTER LIGHTS HIS PIPE for djdills.blogspot.com/2023/08/dills-in-quincy.html
He ate a grizzly bear? That's disgusting.
if anyone want to know if they are cutting native honeysuckle or invasive is our native honeysuckle has a solid pith. all native honey suckle has a hollow pith. this is good information for homeoners to have. happy hollow orchard and purmaculturist chester illinois.
i had to take most this property to nothing because of invasive vines and species. my property has bad eagles yearly . even though they just cut down the local eagles nesting trees to build the new bridge crossing at chester illinois to Perryville Missouri. its sad too because i was a railroader for last 25 years before injured and that was the only nesting trees for the next 20 miles of river until you got to fults illinois. this just happened last month cutting all them trees across a mile of dead standing timber they hunted fish from.
we trying to eradicate the invasive honeysuckly and perrywinkle. 6 acre chester illinois permaculture farm,
So sad what happened ..
Awesome thanks man
Are microgreens healthy?

I'm so proud of you my wifey @Ludmille😘
There are several books about the Shelton gang who were involved in bootlegging and gambling in downstate Illinois. A documentary was in production in 2015 but I can't find any reference that was ever released.
I had the honor of meeting Mr Hendricks. He was very knowledgeable, respectful, and encouraging to all craftsman.
I'm impressed with your setup. Trying to get started in Southern Illinois. Do you offer classes?

Well I disagree, if that were true, someone would pay for my flight training, many airline CEO’s say there is no pilot shortage, yet you ask any flight school, oh yeah they are screaming for pilots, well I see a money making scheme.
I know I’m 9 years late but this was incredible- that beading had me saying ooohhh, wowwww, awwww! I’m telling you I felt cheated that I didn’t get to see more- especially the guy who had all the flags in his work- I literally was gasping! They both had just gorgeous work. And for anyone thinking this is ‘culture appropriation’ think again- this is EXACTLY how we honor each others cultures and we need more of it!
Real nice track there. I ran Macs on an Invader at Mc Arthur Park Speedway OKC. Great times!
illinois legislators should be working in a quarry, turning big rocks into little rocks.
Really cool to see - love what you’re doing, Craig! Keep going!
Thank you, Fred and the WSIUTV team! It was such a pleasure being on the "Eye on Education" show. -Breanna Churchill
